ISACA-Academic Relations

Mission: To support and enhance relationships among the faculty and student bodies of colleges and universities – with local Chapters, ISACA®worldwide, and the IS Audit and Control profession.

Three main groups are served by the Academic Relations Committee – students, faculty, and industry members.

Students:  While you are attending college full-time, you can become an ISACA member of the Los Angeles chapter for only $25.  Attending the monthly meetings are only $10 if you preregister and $20 at the door.  Speakers at the monthly meetings are leaders in the industry speaking on a current topic in the profession.  Attending monthly meetings also provides students access to industry professionals.

ISACA members are available to speak at student club meetings or classes.  Please send a request to academicrelations@isacala.orgSchool Representatives Wanted! ISACA® is searching for 1 to 2 student representatives from each local school that can act as chapter liaisons and promote ISACA® news and events to student organizations such as MISSA or Beta Alpha Psi.

Faculty:  ISACA can provide speakers to your student clubs and classes.  Faculty can also become Academic Advocates which provides free membership. Becoming an ISACA Academic Advocate gives you access to resources that can be used in your classes.  For more information on becoming an Academic Advocate, please visit
