Become An ISACA® Member Today!!


To become a member of the ISACA®, you will need to contact the International headquarters. You can link to the Membership Page on the International’s website or contact them by e-mail atmembershipat, by phone at (847) 590-7470, or by fax at (847) 253-1443 to request a membership form.Membership in the ISACA® organization is required to become a member of the local chapter. You can also e-mail the Membership Coordinator(s) for the Los Angeles Chapter (membershipat to request a membership form which can be completed and mailed or faxed to the ISACA® headquarters. The address and fax numbers are on the membership form. When requesting a membership form via e-mail, be sure to include your name, mailing address, phone and fax numbers. Chapter Members receive the benefit of being involved in their local organization and can become an officer of the Chapter Board. As a member of the chapter, you can share audit and security information and ask questions of other members and you can now get online access to International’s IS Audit & Control Journal.

Member Nominations Call for Volunteers

The ISACA LA Chapter will be accepting nominations for the 2016 Board of Directors. The nominee will be required to complete the nomination form, Willingness to Serve Statement, and Conflict of Interest and Disclosure Statement. These forms must be completed and submitted to the Nominations Committee by a specified date.

ISACA LA Chapter board members are volunteers, nominated by our membership, and voted in by the current board and the membership. As a Chapter Board member you will be required to commit your time to attend monthly board meetings and assist with coordinating and organizing chapter activities (10 – 30 hours per year). You will receive 10 CPEs per year for board participation, which can be used to meet your continuing education requirements for your CISA and CISM. As a board member you can provide ongoing input into Chapter activities and training programs.

A. A Nominating Committee of three (3) members shall be elected by the Chapter Board at a board meeting but no later than the February meeting.
B. The Nominating Committee shall nominate candidates for offices to be filled at the annual meeting. All candidates will be members in good standing.
C. The Nominating Committee shall report to the membership at the regular meeting in April. Each candidate shall have consented to serve.
D. Nominations may also be taken from the floor during the regularly scheduled chapter meeting in April. In order to be accepted by the Nominating Committee, both the individual making the nomination and the candidate being nominated must be members in good standing of the
Chapter. In addition, a willingness to serve statement must have been obtained from the candidate.

A. Officers and Directors shall be elected by ballot mailed to each member in good standing.
B. The results of the election will be certified by the Election Committee to the Board of Directors and announced at the Annual Meeting.
C. Only members in good standing as of March 31 of each year shall be entitled to receive a mail ballot.
